Normally, this would’ve been a super happy post but due to recent events, it’s a bit somber this year. We’d planned to go to the Grand Canyon but due to my father’s sudden death, that trip has been postponed to later this year.
We’re going to celebrate at home and keep it very low-key. We’re going to have steaks and maybe I’ll get a nice cake for us from somewhere. Very simple and still cheaper than eating out!
15 years with one person is a spectacular feat considering we’ve last longer than all of Taylor Swift’s relationships (and Ariana Grande’s!). We’ve had our ups and downs and some sideways. The good, the bad, and the ugly. But Maks is someone I can never imagine not being with.
He’s one of the greatest people I know and I’m really lucky to know him. I actually like him as a person and that’s huge. You can love someone but not really like them. I really like my husband. He’s the bee’s knees.
